Jim Kelly cancer update: Bills HoF QB to have reconstructive jaw surgery
Bills legend and Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly, who announced Thursday that his oral cancer has returned, will undergo reconstructive surgery on his upper jaw later this month, he told WGRZ-TV in Buffalo on Friday.
Kelly, 58, will have surgery at the end of March in New York City where doctors will reconstruct his jaw using part of one of his fibulas and blood vessels from his leg.
Barkley would allow Cleveland to move on from Isaiah Crowell, who averaged a solid 4.2 yards per carry the last four seasons but never broke 1,000 yards. Barkley pairs well with Duke Johnson, a chronically under-used asset in the Browns offense.
He follows a trend that’s working in the NFL: A team can draft a running back with a top-10 pick. This is just the nature of the beast, Toth told co-host Bill Polian and me this week on SiriusXM NFL Radio.
It’s also part of the balancing act Toth faces between fulfilling his military service and pursuing an NFL career.
As frustrated as some players and coaches are with the talk of tanking, Bulls point guard Kris Dunn acknowledged that he doesn’t care much about the chatter at all.
